Facilitating for startup with foreign background

Research shows that people with an immigrant background have a higher propensity to start a business. Two major challenges for immigrant entrepreneurs are building networks and understanding the local business culture.

There is great interest in the English-speaking Startup Courses held in the Romerike region and in Asker and Bærum. Inclusion is involved with the courses in both regions. At Wednesday’s course in Lillestrøm, participants with a wide variety of business ideas attended. They came from countries such as Germany, the Philippines, Ukraine, Lithuania, Poland, the UK, Albania/Greece and Russia.
